Getting it to look like you.
You approve every stage before we make anything physical. This page says exactly how many chances you get to change it, what we'll remake, and — honestly — what we can't promise.
Free before you pay
3 free previews a day, plus a bonus one whenever you rate a result 3 stars or less. Nothing is charged until you love one.
You approve the 3D model
We don't print until you've seen the 3D model and pressed approve. If it's off, ask for a revision instead.
We remake defects free
A manufacturing fault in what arrives — a misprint, a paint flaw, a structural crack from production — gets a free remake.
1. Before you pay — the free preview loop
Every teenyme starts as a free 2D preview. You get 3 free previews every day, and rating a result 3 stars or less adds a bonus preview — so telling us something missed actually earns you another go. Try different styles, outfits and photos as many times as you like across days. You are never charged for a preview, and you should only order once a preview genuinely looks like you.
The single biggest factor in likeness is the photo you upload. A clear, well-lit, front-facing selfie where your face fills the frame beats any number of retries on a dark or angled one.
2. After you pay — the 3D approval gate (figurines)
When you order a figurine we generate a 3D model from your chosen preview and email you to review it. Nothing is printed or painted until you approve. On your order page you can:
- Approve — production starts.
- Request a revision — tell us what's off (face, hair, outfit, pose, proportions) with a note. Your current model stays viewable while we look at it.
A revision request goes to a real person, not straight back into the machine. We read what you asked for and either regenerate the model or reply explaining why that particular change isn't achievable — you always get an answer. Your first revision is included; further requests are considered case by case and we'll always tell you where you stand before anything is charged.
If you don't respond either way, we auto-approve the model after 6 days so your order doesn't sit forgotten. We email you before that happens — if you need longer, just reply and ask.
3. What a remake covers
Once your teenyme has been made and shipped, we remake it free when the fault is ours:
- A manufacturing defect — misprint, paint flaw, structural fault from production.
- The wrong item, size, or colour versus what you ordered.
- A figurine that doesn't match the 3D model you approved.
Email support@teenyme.in within 48 hours of delivery with photos. You don't need to ship anything back. Full detail on the returns & replacements page.
4. What we can't guarantee
We'd rather be straight with you than have you find this out after paying:
- Fine facial detail is not guaranteed. A teenyme is a stylised collectible, not a portrait bust. Freckles, exact eyebrow shape, a specific smile line, precise skin tone under coloured lighting — these are interpreted, not reproduced.
- Finishing varies slightly. Each figurine is finished by hand in our studio, so no two are pixel-identical. Small variation is the craft, not a defect.
- "Make it look more like me" is not actionable on its own. Tell us what specifically is off — the nose is too wide, the hair is the wrong length — and we can act on it.
- We can't revise your way to a different person. Revisions refine the model we generated from your photo; they don't restart from a new photo. For a different photo, create a new teenyme (previews are free).
5. Changed your mind entirely
You can cancel for a full refund within 12 hours of ordering, before production starts. After that, because every teenyme is made to order from your photo, we don't offer change-of-mind refunds — see returns & replacements. This is exactly why the preview is free and the 3D approval gate exists: the decision points are all in front of the money, not behind it.
6. Talk to us
If any of this leaves you unsure about your order, ask before it goes into production — support@teenyme.in, or through the contact page. We'd much rather fix it at the model stage than have you open a box you don't love.
